The HEART Resource and Testing Center in Bangor is a safe place for people experiencing houselessness to socialize, relax and connect with the community.

On the outside, the HEART Resource and Testing Center looks like a home - sitting rooms with soft lighting. Board games and comfy places to socialize. A TV room for watching movies together, a dining room, and a self-help kitchen.
Who are we?
Unnoticed, our staff is comprised of licensed social workers, substance use counselors, peer recovery coaches, and homeless services proffesionals.
What do we do?
The HEART Center provides quick and comfortable access to wound care. STI testing and treatment, housing services, group counseling, transportation, snacks and meals, computers, phones, mail, and community outreach supports.
